Lupus: Diagnosis and Management

How can this event help me?

Ever heard of Lupus? Although not quite as common in our community as some of the other rheumatic conditions, Lupus still impacts a significant number of individuals in our community. Rheumatologist Fabio has a special interest in Lupus, whilst Stephanie is currently working on a PhD which investigates the Safety and effectiveness of exercise in people with systemic sclerosis or systemic lupus erythematosus.

During our live online event Rheumatologist Dr Fabio Kullock and Exercise Physiologist Stephanie Frade will aim to cover:

  • Brief Review of the Immune System
  • How does a Rheumatologist diagnose Lupus?
  • Medication Management for Lupus
  • Strategies to manage fatigue and other symptoms
  • Exercise Recommendations for Lupus

Attend our live virtual event 8pm Wednesday 17th August.

Like all of our events, we will welcome questions and discussion so we can all hear and learn from each other.
