Move for Movember

Week two of MOVE-mber is officially here!

How did you go with the first week?

Did you get in 30 minutes worth of exercise each day?

Here’s 7 more walks and runs to get you through week two.

You’ll notice they’re in a variety of different locations across Greater Sydney, so feel free to comment any great walks around your local area that you love to help out others with getting their 30 minutes in each day!

Monday: Zig-zag runs through Suburban Chatswood are a great way to test and improve your speediness and agility, and suburban Chatswood is a great location to do it in!

Tuesday: Willoughby Park in Chatswood is another beautiful backdrop for achieving your fitness goals, whatever they may be. It has a great kid’s play area which helps if you are looking after the kids at the same time. There is also a nice path right round the whole oval which allows for kids to ride their bikes or scooters – especially handy if you need to get those laps of walking and/or running in!

Wednesday: If it’s a stair circuit you want, look no further than the road from Mrs Macquarie’s Chair towards the Art Gallery of NSW. Here, you’ll find a series of stairs which you can continue to do stair repeats on. One of them even goes right down to Woolloomooloo.

Thursday: Freshwater Beach to North Curl Curl is a great walk along the cliff to and from the beaches, and only takes about 30-40 minutes return.

Friday: The Bay Run at Iron Cove is a social, family – and dog-friendly walk in the inner-west. It’s also one of the most popular habourside tracks in all of Sydney. Definitely a good choice for a Friday afternoon wind-down.

Saturday: A stroll from Bondi to Coogee will offer not only the opportunity to get in your 30 minutes worth of exercise for the day, but it also boasts views of some of the best beaches in Australia. It’s also a great, dog-friendly walk.

Sunday: The Riverside Run in Lane Cove National Park is a great location, especially if you are interested in observing or photographing the local flora and fauna.
