We are looking for an enthusiastic, dependable and highly adaptable customer service focused manager to lead our team of receptionists at a very busy Rheumatology clinic in Parramatta. The aim would be to not only manage receptionists but also look after daily running of the entire clinic.

About the role:

  • Full-time position reporting to the Operations Manager
  • Support our practitioners to deliver outstanding care
  • Manage the daily running of the clinic
  • Immediate start possible to commence induction & training
  • Training will involve immersing yourself as a receptionist to upskill as quickly as possible

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the receptionists daily, providing direction, feedback and training where relevant
  • Oversee the team and tasks to ensure priorities are met
  • Use multiple software systems
  • Be hands on by providing excellent customer service when required
  • Team management such as rostering and performance coaching
  • Resource allocation to improve productivity and efficiency
  • Recruitment
  • Induction and training
  • Communication with other BJC leaders

Essentials of the role:

  • Management experience of a medical reception team or similar
  • Flexibility to communicate with staff and leaders outside of normal business hours
  • Must be willing to train at reception to get up to speed
  • Must be willing to do reception duties if there are staff members away

Remuneration:

  • $65k to $80k package (inclusive of superannuation) plus a continuing education allowance.
