Who is BJC Health?
BJC Health is the largest rheumatology group and the only “one-stop shop” rheumatology provider in Australia. Our rheumatologists work collaboratively with co-located complimentary expert allied health professionals including physiotherapists, exercise physiologists, massage therapists, podiatrists, hand physiotherapists, dietitians and patient educators.
We are located in Sydney in 3 locations: Parramatta, Chatswood & Bondi Junction. We have a patient database of over 60000 and help over 4000 new rheumatology presentations a year.
What is BJC JAM Session?
JAM session was conceived in 2015 to facilitate training in musculoskeletal and rheumatic disease for GPs and allied health professionals interested in rheumatology. We have hosted yearly events in Sydney with over 200 delegates.
In 2020, we moved to a virtual format bringing JAM session to a national audience. Our virtual events have around 500 users registered, with hundreds of live stream chat messages as the audience and moderators engage enthusiastically.
The experts working at BJC Health combine with key opinion leaders around Australia to deliver fresh, dynamic content.
JAM session will become the premier event for rheumatology education for GPs and AHPs. We hope you will make it a fixture on your calendar!
Where is BJC JAM Session being held?
The August 2021 JAM session is fully virtual. You’ll be able to access all the content anywhere, using your mobile device, laptop or desktop.
In 2022, we anticipate a return to an in-person meeting in Sydney. We will however have a hybrid conference, with continued virtual access for all delegates around Australia who do not live locally and for those who cannot attend in-person.
When and how will I have access to the virtual platform?
You will be sent how to login to the Delegate Connect platform a few days out from the start of BJC JAM. You will be given instructional video on how to use the platform.
What is the cost of BJC JAM Session?
Attendance is complimentary. We have generous sponsors (include link to sponsor page) and all speakers have provided their time and expertise without any expectation of an honorarium.
Will the sessions be recorded for later viewing?
Yes, all sessions will be recorded and available for up to 6 months post event. An email will be sent to delegates with a password protect to watch the sessions again or catch up on any you missed at the time.
