Fabio is a Consultant Rheumatologist who graduated in 2018 in Brazil. Fabio worked as an assistant professor at Vassouras University in Rio de Janiero, combining this academic work with private practice.
He moved to Sydney early in 2021 to take up a rheumatology fellowship at Westmead Hospital. He now transitions to BJC Health where he will complete his private practice fellowship.
Fabio has a special interest in Spondyloarthritis, Rheumatoid Arthritis and Sjogren’s Syndrome. He understands the importance of careful listening to the patient and thorough assessment as diagnosis can be tricky with tests often misleading in rheumatology.
