After leaving school Tracey worked in retail for 25 years, which she later left to start in the beauty industry which she thoroughly enjoyed. Her spare time was spent working as a receptionist in various medical fields, which she found rewarding.
In her spare time Tracey likes to catch up with family and friends. She also love to travel especially overseas where she can explore other cultures.

How can this event help me?
Ankylosing Spondylitis (AS) presents unique challenges for movement, flexibility, and overall wellbeing. Mastering the delicate balance between appropriate exercise and necessary rest can profoundly impact symptom management and long-term mobility. Understanding how to move safely and effectively is key to thriving with this condition.
In this live online session, Exercise Physiologists Robyn Yin and Sarah Comensoli will explore the intricate relationship between AS and physical activity, share essential principles for safe movement, and guide you toward finding your personal equilibrium. This discussion caters to anyone seeking practical insights: whether you're personally navigating AS, supporting a loved one, or simply deepening your understanding of exercise considerations for this inflammatory condition.
Join Robyn and Sarah for an engaging conversation covering these vital topics:
Why exercise matters in AS: How regular movement helps reduce stiffness, maintain spinal mobility, support posture, and contribute to long-term joint health, while also improving energy levels, confidence, and overall wellbeing.
Finding the right balance: How to exercise safely without overdoing it, how to recognise the difference between helpful discomfort and warning signs, and how to adjust activity during flare-ups so you can stay consistent.
Types of exercise that help most: The role of strength training, mobility work, posture-focused exercises, and cardiovascular fitness, and how each contributes to better movement, resilience, and long-term function.
Building a sustainable routine: Practical tips for creating an exercise plan that fits into everyday life, setting realistic goals, and adapting your routine as symptoms and life demands change.
Staying confident with movement: Strategies to stay motivated, overcome fear of movement, manage setbacks, and continue progressing safely with guidance and support.
This session offers invaluable guidance for anyone wanting to better understand how to exercise with confidence and compassion while living with Ankylosing Spondylitis. Mark your calendar for Wednesday, April 29th, and join us for this supportive and enlightening virtual gathering. We encourage your questions and active participation to make this a truly collaborative learning experience for everyone involved.
