Sorting Out Your Sore Shoulder

How can this event help me?

Shoulder pain can make everyday activities like reaching, lifting, dressing, or sleeping less comfortable. While sore shoulders are common, understanding why they're happening and knowing how to respond can make a meaningful difference in reducing pain, restoring movement, and returning to the activities you enjoy.

In this live online session, Physiotherapist Jackson Zhou will explore some of the most common causes of shoulder pain, explain how movement can support recovery, and share practical strategies to help you regain confidence in using your shoulder. This discussion is suitable for anyone experiencing shoulder pain, supporting a loved one with shoulder concerns, or simply wanting to better understand how to keep their shoulders healthy and functioning well.

Join Jackson for an engaging conversation covering the following:

Understanding shoulder pain: Learn about some of the most common reasons shoulders become painful, why symptoms can vary from person to person, and how identifying contributing factors can help guide recovery.

Moving with confidence: Discover how the right type of movement can help reduce pain, improve mobility, and gradually restore shoulder strength without unnecessarily avoiding everyday activities.

Building stronger shoulders: Explore simple exercises and movement strategies that support shoulder function, improve resilience, and help you return to the tasks and hobbies that matter most.

Managing shoulder pain day to day: Practical tips for modifying activities, pacing movement, and responding to flare-ups while continuing to make steady progress.

Supporting long-term shoulder health: Learn how maintaining strength, mobility, and healthy movement habits can help reduce the risk of future shoulder problems and support long-term function.

This session offers practical, evidence-based guidance for anyone wanting to better understand shoulder pain and build healthier movement habits for long-term shoulder health. Mark your calendar for Wednesday, August 5th, and join us for this informative virtual gathering. We encourage your questions and active participation to make this a truly collaborative learning experience for everyone involved.
