Simran is a consultant rheumatologist who specialises in the diagnosis and treatment of autoimmune, inflammatory and musculoskeletal conditions. She has a wide range of experience in various rheumatic diseases across diverse populations. Her special interests include rheumatoid arthritis, crystal arthropathies such as gout, inflammatory back pain and polymyalgia rheumatica.
Simran is a compassionate and dedicated clinician who combines up to date, evidence based medicine with individualised patient centred care. She has actively contributed to rheumatology research with local and international publications and conference presentations for which she has been recognised with awards. Before moving to Sydney she was a Staff Specialist with Queensland Health and held university academic titles.
Outside of work, Simran enjoys reformer pilates, travelling and Sydney’s coastal walks.
