Shirley is a consultant rheumatologist who graduated from the University of New South Wales. She has done further specialist training at Canberra, Royal Prince Alfred and Royal North Shore Hospitals and is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians..
She is currently a consultant rheumatologist at Royal North Shore Hospital and runs a general rheumatology clinic the Osteoarthritis Chronic Care Program clinics. She is also a clinical lecturer for the University of Sydney, Northern Clinical School.
She has a special interest in osteoarthritis, and other aspects of general rheumatology, including the diagnosis and medical management of an array of musculoskeletal conditions – inflammatory arthritis, crystal arthropathies, systemic lupus erythematosus, myositis and vasculitis.
She is fluent in English and Mandarin.
Dr Shirley works as an independent practitioner consulting at BJC Health.
