We believe there is a right trainer for everybody. A personality and expertise match can go a long way in making exercise safe, motivating, and sustainable.

This year's Exercise Right Week theme centres around "Who's your match? Getting to know your expert of exercise".

To break the mould and challenge stereotypes of who the right exercise professional may be, we've interviewed our excercise physiologists so you can get to know them!

Meet Holly Smart:

Where did you grow up? I grew up in Forbes, a very very small country town.

Do you have any nicknames? I've had a lot of nicknames over the years including Hol, Hol Doll, Hol-bags, Bilbo, and Maggot. The last is definitely my least favourite and is thanks to my Dad.

Star sign: My star sign is Aries

Favourite food: I love a lamb roast and request it every year on my birthday. It is something I have grown up with and reminds me of home.

Your favourite zoo animal? My favourite animal is an elephant. I think they are such an elegant, intelligent and beautiful creature (even though they are huge). I love that they live in family groups and mourn the passing of one of their own.

Favourite type of exercise: My favourite exercise is HIIT because you can get so much done in a short period of time (yay!). I love the rush of endorphins you get when you are done.

Something clients don't know about you: I have webbed toes like my pop, BUT I am by far the worst swimmer in my family

A purchase under $100 which has positively influenced your life? My best buy under $100 would have to be a blender. Anything that gives me more time to sleep in the morning is gold!

The best thing about being an EP? The best part of being an EP is helping people reach their goals and become happier, fitter, healthier human beings. Seeing someone achieve something they haven’t been able to do before is amazing.... It's quite selfish really.

We are again offering free 30min consultations during Exercise Right week with one of our EP’s to help you figure out whether you are exercising right.

Feel free to book in a consultation with Robyn. We are experts in making sure what you are doing is targeted, safe and specific to your needs.
