4 tips for a low FODMAP Easter

Written by Chloe McLeod | 22-Mar-2016 23:30:00

Easter is right around the corner, and for some of us, that means chocolate and hot cross buns.

So what strategies can you use to help ensure you're staying low FODMAP, whilst still enjoying yourself?

1. Choose dark chocolate, or Carob - both of these are delicious, and still low FODMAP.
2. Swap to gluten-free, fruit-free hot cross buns for a tasty treat.
3. Just because it's Easter, it doesn't mean you have to gorge. Take your time and savor each bite; you'll likely find you enjoy your choices much more, through eating less.
4. Give presents other than chocolate, and do your best to organise fun activities, such as backyard present hunts.

All of us at BJC Health would like to take the opportunity to wish you and your families a safe and happy Easter break. Enjoy!
