Update: Friday July 10th, 2020

It’s been several weeks since my last update.  I hope you’ve been doing well.  Over the past several weeks, with restrictions easing in Sydney and greater NSW, more returning to the clinic to see us face to face.

It has been nice to see our waiting areas fill up a little more, to see people smiling and going about their day, more of what we have been used to.  Some have come in for group exercise whilst many of you have enjoyed the convenience that telehealth has provided.

We Remain Open

Though our doors have remained open throughout this time, we plan to still practise what is in the best interest of our patients and our team.

  • If you feel unwell, please do not not come to the clinic.

Continue to utilise our telehealth options. The ability to see your treating practitioner virtually over telehealth is easier than ever.
  • If you choose to visit the clinic
    • Practising strict hygiene protocols that we have in place. Hand sanitisers may end up being a permanent fixture in all rooms.
    • Respect social distancing at all times. Our waiting room configuration may also end up being the new norm.
    • Please practise best guidelines and wear a mask and expect that some of your treating practitioners will be wearing one too. All our massage therapists definitely will.

Physical Activity

Our concern continues to be that you remain active and moving.

I appreciate it has been a challenge with the social distancing and restrictions imposed.  However, we hope you have been able to return to your some of previous activities.  In case you have found this to be difficult there is some good news to share.

We continue to offer free virtual exercise trials to you, our clients.  These sessions are guided by Sarah and Robyn who are leaders of our Exercise Physiology team.  We've provided almost 300 sessions to date and are finding that those that attend virtual sessions are more consistent and feel encouraged.

Recent COVID-19 Developments

The past week too has realised some of our fears and brought home the reality of this pandemic and infectiousness of COVID-19. We have, with some reluctance, decided to follow the guidelines set out by NSW Health. These are:

  • For anyone returning from Victoria as of 8th July 2020, we ask that you self-isolate at home and to not attend our clinic until 14 days after your arrival back in Sydney.
  • To comply with the self-isolation guidelines as deemed by NSW Health

We must continue to be both vigilant and cautious to ensure the safety of not just all our patients and team members, but the wider community as well. Please continue to stay alert and safe.

We have transformed our entire business to serve you at home, in the clinic and almost anywhere you are.   I hope you find both value and convenience in our telehealth and new virtual options.

Kind regards,

Errol Lim
