About the Role - Full-time/Part-time position reporting to the Allied Health manager. We are looking for someone who is open to work during peak times (before and/or after normal business hours including Saturdays) to deliver massage therapy sessions in a private practice setting. - Work within our multidisciplinary team to ensure integration between services promoting Connected Care involving our Physiotherapists, Rheumatologists, Exercise Physiologists and Dietitians - There is a proportion of our patients who request seeing a female therapist only
Clinical Responsibilities - Working in our Parramatta CBD centre - Remedial massage shifts with flexible hours but there is a need to work Saturdays - Wide and varied caseload including complex cases - We are the leaders in rheumatic disease and inflammatory conditions, an opportunity lies in becoming an expert in this field
Professional Development - BJC Health fosters self-development and continuing professional education. It is an essential component when working with us. Your position will allow you to attend national conferences and courses. - In-house education and mentoring will be provided. These occur on a regular basis. - Attendance at our annual rheumatology conference is encouraged - We would encourage and support further post-graduate study

This role would suit an experienced massage therapist or an exceptional new graduate. To be considered for this role, applicants must: - Have a Diploma of Remedial Massage - Have Professional Indemnity Insurance - Have Professional Association membership - Be registered with all health funds

Remuneration - The remuneration package will be commission based under a license agreement. All equipment and massage essentials are provided. - A salary package can be negotiated especially if the successful candidate excels
