It's that time of year again!

For those of you who haven't heard of it, Exercise Right Week is a national campaign to help inspire all Australians to live more active and healthy lives. From May 21st to 26th, BJC Health will be doing its part to help shine the spotlight on our team of EP's and get everyone talking more about exercise and all of the benefits possible!

The Exercise Physiology team love this week :) It's a time where we like to celebrate our existing clients and all the hard work they put into their exercise sessions. We normally decorate the gym, put on some social occasions and let our whole team dress in active wear for the entire week!

In addition to those efforts, this year we are also offering complimentary risk screening. This involves a 30 minute complimentary consultation which will be focused on assessing either your

  • Falls Risk,
  • Injury Risk, or
  • Cardiovascular Risk

We understand that it can be tricky to navigate all the options that are currently available when it comes to exercise, especially if you are nursing some aches and pains or are worried about hurting yourself. A number of our clients also tell us they are worried about falls, and want to understand what they can do to stay strong and agile as they age. And cardiovascular risk factors can also be measured to better guide you in the exercise efforts you want to start or may already be taking part in.

We appreciate how hard exercise can be to get started and sometimes getting some good objective measures can help set you on the path to some regular activity. If you or someone you know are interested in checking your risk, click the link below and one of the team will be happy to help you out!

Otherwise follow us on Facebook as we celebrate this great initiative once again!
